What’s In and What’s Out at the Enchanted Garden Restaurant

Concierge guests onboard Disney Cruise Line often request the “teacup tables” in Enchanted Garden, one of three rotational dining restaurants onboard the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. These cozy booths lined the center aisle of the restaurant and were a bit elevated to provide a view of the lovely room.

Something seemed amiss as we entered the Enchanted Garden on our August 30, 2021 sailing aboard the Disney Dream. After a moment, it became clear that the teacups had been seamlessly removed and replaced with tables of various sizes. Our server confirmed that the teacup tables were removed to provide for social distancing in the dining room.

Although this change may be a disappointment for some, Disney Cruise Line has added a new feature to the Enchanted Garden. The Fab Five appear at dinner, dancing and parading throughout the dining room. Tables along the center aisle have a great view of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck as they perform to a “Disney Friends at Sea” song. Mickey and Friends then proceed through the dining room, returning to the center aisle as they switch sides to make sure all guests can wave and take photos. (Note that the characters do not stop at individual tables.) Watch our video of the show here!

We have confirmed the teacups have been removed from the Enchanted Garden on the Disney Fantasy as well. No word if this is a temporary or permanent change. The Disney Friends at Sea show occurs on both the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. What are your thoughts about these changes?
